Whether we like it or not, baby food squeeze pouches have become a staple in every parent’s diaper bag. After all, they’re a super convenient snack for your baby when you’re out and about. But research from the UK has found that continued use of them can cause damage to babies in the longer term. Health professionals are warning that prolonged sucking on the tops of these pouches can be detrimental to babies’ teeth and impair their speech development. So while an occasional pouch is okay, when you’re traveling or as a quick snack on the go, try not to use them daily or as an alternative to a main meal.
